Integrated Tribal Development Program

The Integrated Tribal Development Program (ITDP) was founded in 1991 by Mike and Becky Mann with its initial goal of providing fresh water and sanitation to the hill-hribes in North Thailand. With its base in Chiang Mai, Thailand, ITDP has been able to reach hundreds of hill-tribes villages over the last 20 years.

Over the years ITDP has grown and branched out from its original goal and now has several different projects providing a variety of resources to not only the hill-tribes of north Thailand, but also Burma and China.

You can check out some of the amazing things ITDP are doing at itdp.webs.com

La Mai Coffee (Thailand Arabica)

Every cup of La Mai Coffee is making a difference. La Mai is an organic, fairly traded coffee that is bringing hope to the people of north Thailand. Farmers who once grew opium poppies and were central to the drug trade now grow high quality coffee beans instead. La Mai beans are then shipped directly to New Zealand and roasted with care in small batches. This captures the unique regional flavours and produces a great tasting cup of coffee.

You can purchase La Mai Coffee in both 1kg and 200g take home packs. Buy it as whole beans or freshly ground with wholesale profits going back to Thailand to fight child prostitution.
